+82 (Plus Eight Two)

Korean dessert cafes? You can find them all over the island. A Korean dessert cafe opened by a member of a K-Pop boy group? Now that caught our attention. It got the K-Pop fan in us screaming as we headed down.

K-Pop fans, this is your next hang out spot! Co-founded by the leader of BTOB, Seo Eunkwang, this aesthetically pleasing cafe serves up Korean bingsu and toast with a twist.

While +82 serves up the normal snowflake-like bingsu, their speciality is the Siltare Bingsu (silk-like bingsu). Siltare Bingsu ($17.90) has milk ice shaved in fine threads and melts almost instantly in our mouths.

The Palette Toast ($8.50) is another eye-catching dish. Cookies and cream, matcha, and strawberry spread is served on a palette. With the dish looking like a piece of art, remember to snap photos of it before you dig in!

The entire cafe is perfect for photo taking opportunities. With marble table tops and rose gold furniture, visit this cafe to soak in the ambience. Who knows? You may even see Eunkwang himself on the premises!

Level Up

If you think arcades are just for kids, you’re wrong. Check out Level Up, Singapore’s first arcade-bar located at Clarke Quay.

You’ll be hit by a wave of nostalgia when you see the graffiti-filled walls of iconic video game characters. Not nostalgic enough? We bet the child in you will be jumping for joy when you see the retro arcade machines (do “joystick” and “buttons” ring a bell?) there. Reminisce your childhood as you challenge your friends in a game of X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Puzzle Bobble, King of Fighters, and even Metal Slug.

This 6,400 square feet arcade-bar even has darts, air hockey, and basketball machines! If the arcade games aren’t up your alley, you can stick to the usual bar games. Level Up has pool tables as well as light-up beer pong tables.

Grab some snacks such as Truffle Fries and Luncheon Meat Chips to munch on while you have fun. If you’re feeling a bit more peckish, you can try the sliders and short ribs, which are popular choices among customers.

So, grab a bottle of beer (or a glass of cocktail) and get ready to enjoy their motto ‘Eat, Drink, Play’ to the fullest!
